This event was slightly delayed to allow for the completion of a Harness race.
Relethor Bale, Iona Express, Swoop And Peck and Ima Ebay collided soon after the start, checking Swoop And Peck and casuing the greyhound to fall. Mepunga Dasha, City And Colour and Undeniably collided on the first turn, checking City And Colour. Ima Ebay checked off City And Colour approaching the home turn. Relethor Bale checked off the heels of Iona Express on the home turn. City And Colour raced wide on the home turn. Mepunga Dasha and Relethor Bale collided in the home straight.
Swoop And Peck was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
