Steward's Report
Lektra Boss was a late scratching at 6:40 pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon, due to nail injuries. A three day stand down period was imposed.
This event was slightly delayed due to track preparation.
A pre-race sample was taken fron Why Not Cory.
Bobby Tokaam and Showtime Mystery were slow to begin. Zipping Arnold, Thunder Of Sky and Why Not Cory collided soon after the start, checking Zipping Arnold. Thunder Of Sky and Zipping Arnold collided on the first turn. Thunder Of Sky, Sub Zero Magic and Showtime Mystery collided approaching the home turn. Bobby Tokaam raced wide on the home turn. Thunder Of Sky and Zipping Arnold collided on the home turn. Crazy Jo Jo and Bobby Tokaam collided approaching the winning post. Bobby Tokaam and Showtime Mystery collided at the winning post.
Steward’s issued a reprimand to Ms Mandy Shore, catcher of Crazy Jo Jo, in that she was negligent in her duties when failing to catch the greyhound when organised to do so (GAR 86(a)).
