The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Titanium Boy and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 5.10pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr M. Ferguson was fined the sum of $100.
Major Think was quick to begin. Straitline Willy was very slow to begin (5 lengths).
Out Of Paint, Sicario and Saint David collided soon after the start and several times to the first turn. Hedwig and Ark Lightning collided on the first turn. Out Of Paint and Saint David collided on the second turn. Saint David and Straitline Willy collided in the home straight.
