Maximum Babe was a late scratching at 9.27am due to injury - fibula (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cloona Express, Deadline To Meet and Kraken Aye Kay collided soon after the start.  Deadline To Meet and Raven On collided approaching the first turn checking Raven On.  He's Loaded and Kraken Aye Kay collided on the first turn checking Kraken Aye Kay.

Mr. C. Jaensch, trainer of Mighty Winston declared a new weight of 28.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Mighty Winston last raced at 29.6kg.

Shotgun Doll crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Monster Foxy and Winston Cruise.  Mighty Winston, Roy Boy and Monster Foxy collided on the first turn checking Monster Foxy.  Winston Cruise and Gelwix collided on the home turn checking Gelwix.  Gelwix cramped in the home straight.

Monster Foxy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained dehydration, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Gelwix was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramping, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Taylor , the trainer of the greyhound Gelwix.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lektra Jenny was slow to begin.
