Steward's Report
Cup Half Full was slow to begin.
Gnocchi and Just Audrey collided soon after the start. Gnocchi and Cool Al collided on the first turn checking Cool Al. Gnocchi and Cool Al collided approaching the home turn checking Divino, Just Audrey and Cup Half Full and severely checking Gnocchi and Cool Al, Cool Al fell as a result. Gnocchi and Divino collided in the home straight.
Cool Al was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms. D. Coleman, the trainer of Daisy Bale regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Daisy Bale last raced on 15th of November, 2016. Ms. Coleman stated that Daisy Bale is returning to racing from a spell. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Daisy Bale trialled over the 425 metres from box 1, weight 27.5kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.17, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.5L. Daisy Bale was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. J.Cooper, the trainer of Crackerjack Kack regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Krackerjack Kack last raced on 26th February 2017. Mr. Cooper stated that Crackerjack Kack is returning to racing from a metacarpal injury. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Crackerjack Kack trialled over the 425 metres from box 3, weight 32.8kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.17, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.5L. Crackerjack Kack was cleared.
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Dundan, the trainer of Select Tim regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Select Tim last raced on 31st January 2017. Mr. Dundan stated that Select Tim is returning to racing after a change of kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Select Tim trialled over the 425 metres from box 8, weight 29.7kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.17, the greyhound by a margin of 14.25L. Select Tim was cleared.
