Cailah Shakey was slow to begin.  Kilty Jewel, Makikos, Jakesta and Tyson Trump collided soon after the start, checking Jakesta.  Makikos and Jakesta collided at the 300m mark.  Tyson Trump checked off Kilty Jewel at the 300m mark.  Scooby Boy, Kilty Jewel and Jakesta collided at the 250m mark.  Scooby Boy, Jakesta and Tyson Trump collided at the 200m mark.  Cailah Shakey checked off Why Not Senor at the 100m mark. Scooby Boy and Tyson Trump collided approaching the 50m mark.

Short Blond Hair was quick to begin.  Oozing Mojo was slow to begin.  Tally Ho Billy and Etiquette collided soon after the start.  Hammer Head and Etiquette collided approaching the 200m mark.  Tally Ho Billy and Etiquette collided several times from the 100m mark until the winning post.

Early Thunder was a late scratching at 10:32am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a sacro-iliac injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Splash Of Blue was quick to begin.  Cullquin Bomber and Zipping Simmo were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  One Plus Two and Cullquin Bomber collided several times from the 300m mark until the 150m mark.  Serious Bolt crossed to the outside approaching the 100m mark.  Cullquin Bomber checked off One Plus Two approaching the 100m mark.  Early Express and One Plus Two collided approaching the winning post.

Early Spring and Paua To Avoid were slow to begin.  Chubby Lane, Paua To Avoid and Samba King collided soon after the start.  White Diamond, My Arizona Room and Pat Me Again collided soon after the start.  White Diamond and My Arizona Room collided approaching the 250m mark.  Chubby Lane and Samba King collided several times from approaching the 250m mark until approaching the 200m mark.  Chubby Lane checked off Samba King at the 200m mark, checking Paua To Avoid and White Diamond.  Chubby Lane checked off My Arizona Room at the 150m mark and raced wide, checking My Arizona Room, Paua To Avoid, White Diamond and Pat Me Again.  Chubby Lane and Pat Me Again collided at the 50m mark.  

Paua To Avoid was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the right hindleg, a 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. Robert Palmer, the Trainer of Beluga Diamond was directed to take the greyhound for a next day veterinary examination follow up as requested by the on track veterinarian.

Pat Me Again was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising to the lumbo-sacral area, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Allen Varmint crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Jimmy's Angel, Weasley Grange and Puffin' Stuff.  Quedos, Uncatchable and Allen Varmint collided at the 200m mark.  Puffin' Stuff checked off Allen Varmint at the 200m mark, checking Jimmy's Angel and Goorawin.  Uncatchable and Allen Varmint collided at the 50m mark.  Goorawin checked off Puffin' Stuff at the 50m mark.  Weasley Grange checked off Quedos approaching the winning post.  Uncatchable and Allen Varmint collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Pollutro, the trainer of Tub's Tiger regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tub's Tiger last raced on 21 July 2017 and is returning from a left hock injury.

Tub's Tiger was slow to begin.  Tub's Tiger checked off Sleeping Slick soon after the start.  Tub's Tiger and Patchie Thief collided at the 250m mark.  Patchie Thief and Sublime Sull collided at the 150m mark, severely checking Sublime Sull which stumbled as a result.  Vane Blue, Tron's Empire and Double The Magic collided approaching the 150m mark, checking Double The Magic and Tron's Empire.

Sublime Sull was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
