Steward's Report
Spectroscopic was a late scratching at 8.06am due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate befoere any future nomination will be accepted.
Low Flying Plane and Catsford Allan were slow to begin. Kilty Jewel crossed to the outside soon after the start and raced wide for the remainder of the race. Acola Sweetie crossed to the outside at the 250m mark, checking Snoop A Lopp. Weiss Allen and Select Tim collided at the 150m mark. Acola Sweetie and Snoop A Loop collided approaching the winning post.
Low Flying Plane was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right metatarsal, a 60 day stand down period was imposed. Representative/owner, Mr Paul Cusack was advised that he must seek follow up veterinary treatment for the greyhound tomorrow, as direct by the on course veterinarian
