Steward's Report

Orange Blossom and Eagle Princess were quick to begin.  Tom's Gift was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Coolan Man and Bee Rose collided approaching the first turn.  Bruree Chief and Booma Mikado collided on the first turn.  Orange Blossom and Eagle Princess collided on the first turn checking Eagle Princess. Bruree Chief galloped on Eagle Princess on the first turn severely checking Bruree Chief, Eagle Princess, Booma Mikado and Coolan Man.  Bee Rose marred Burnsy's Sam on the home turn.

Bee Rose was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr D Halas, the representative of the greyhound Bee Rose regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Bee Rose with marring. Mr Halas pleaded not guilty to the charge, Bee Rose was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Booma Mikado was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Mrs M. Barber, the trainer of Booma Mikado regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.
