Tegz A Riddler was quick to begin. Bless 'Em All was slow to begin.
Iceni Ryder and Scot's Dunker collided approaching the home turn checking Scot's Dunker. Right Off Spot checked off Lektra Oscar on the home turn checking Bless 'Em All. Amigo Two veered out and marred Tegz A Riddler in the home straight severely checking Tegz A Riddler. Amigo Two and Iceni Ryder collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.
Amigo Two was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle, right shoulder, right stifle and right groin injuries, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs K. Prowse, the representative of the greyhound Amigo Two regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Amigo Two with marring. Mrs Prowse pleaded guilty to the charge, Amigo Two was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
