This meeting was declared a hot weather affected meeting. The kennel temperature at the close of kennelling was 18.7 degrees and the outside temperature was 31.7 degrees.

Rythym Taboo was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Real Obsession and Sammy Allen.  Greysynd Sofi and Blazing Major collided approaching the first turn.  Destini Galaxy, Blazing Major and Dyna Alley collided on the first turn.  Sammy Allen and Greysynd Sofi collided approaching the home turn.  Real Obsession checked off Dyna Alley approaching the home turn.  Sammy Allen brushed the running rail approaching the home turn.  Dyna Alistair and Rythym Taboo collided entering the home straight and again several times approaching the winning post. Dyna Alley raced wide in the home straight.

Rythym Taboo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. M Chilcott, the trainer of Rythym Taboo regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Don's Just Under was a late scratching at 6.09pm after it was established the incorrect greyhound was presented at kennelling. At a subsequent inquiry kennel representative Mr Kevin Ward was charged under GAR 86 (o) in that he negligently presented the incorrect greyhound for the purpose of racing. Mr Ward pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined the sum of $250.00

Gehring Bale was slow to begin.  Toss And Turn, Gold Attraction and Xerox Letter collided soon after the start, checking Gold Attraction.  Welshman, Oh So Sleek and Don't Quote Me collided approaching the first turn, checking Oh So Sleek.  Xerox Bale crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Dorrigo Bale and severely checking Welshman and Don't Quote Me.  Don't Quote Me and Gold Attraction collided approaching the first turn.  Oh So Sleek checked off Toss And Turn approaching the home turn.  Gehring Bale checked off Toss And Turn approaching the home turn.  Oh So Sleek and Dorrigo Bale collided several times approaching the winning post.

Welshman was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Don't Quote Me was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right foreleg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Lilly Shan and Orazzi Ohh collided soon after the start, checking Lilly Shan.  Lost Love and Percy's Empire collided soon after the start, checking Lost Love.  Go Jotto checked off Quick Session collided approaching the first turn.  Orazzi Ohh, Puzzles and Quick Session collided on the first turn, checking Puzzles.  Percy's Empire and Puzzles collided on the first turn.  Lilly Shan raced wide entering the home straight, checking Puzzles.

Chill Out Julie and Last Princess were slow to begin.  Destini Fortress and Destini Laredo collided soon after the start.  Annie Lava and Star Fever collided approaching the first turn.  Destini Fortress and Destini Laredo collided on the first turn.  Last Princess raced wide approaching the second turn.  Destini Fortress, Chill Out Julie and Destini Laredo collided on the second turn, checking Chill Out Julie and Destini Laredo.  Destini Fortress and Last Princess collided in the back straight.  Chill Out Julie checked off Destini Fortress on the third turn.  I'm A Princess checked off Chill Out Julie on the third turn.  Precious Destini and I'm A Princess collided approaching the home turn.

Meeniyan Jet was slow to begin.  Quartz Vein checked off Militant Man soon after the start.  Zou Star, Spring Bomber, Militant Man, Myrniong Corner and Gunnewin collided on the first turn, checking Militant Man and severely checking Myrniong Corner and Gennewin.  Zou Star, Militant Man and Gunnewin raced wide in the home straight. There was a delay to All Clear being given to enable Stewards to view the video footage after an object was thrown on to the track in the vicinity of the winning post. After viewing the film and acting on their observations Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was effected and All Clear was notified.

Myrniong Corner was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Gunnewin was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hind paw and grazing to the right inner thigh, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Crump's Legend and Wijnaldum were slow to begin.  Don Lesta and Da Bont collided approaching the first turn.  Blackpool Alexis and Don Lesta collided on the first turn.  Six Green Thumbs faltered on the first turn and lost considerable ground.  Crump's Legend galloped on the heels of Da Bont approaching the home turn, checking Da Bont, Crump's Legend and Wijnaldum.  Da Bont and Six Green Thumbs collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Six Green Thumbs was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Spudtacular and Febregal crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Dimitri Bale, Dyna Hadria and Destini Delta collided soon after the start.  Skibbo, Dimitri Bale, Dyna Hadria and Destini Delta collided soon after the start, checking Dimitri Bale, Dyna Hadria and Destini Delta.  Spudtacular and Fabregal collided several times on the first turn.

Mr P. Santoro trainer of Lee I Am declared a new weight of 34.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Lee I Am last raced at 33.5kg.

Iconic Rock was quick to begin.  Dotti Zulu, Harsh Miles and Lee I Am collided soon after the start.  Beyond The Valley and Dotti Zulu collided approaching the firt turn, checking Dotti Zulu and Harsh Miles.  Iconic Rock faltered on the first turn and lost considerable ground.  Beyond The Vally checked off Bundarra Magic on the first turn.  Beyond The Vally and Lee I Am collided approaching the home turn.

Iconic Rock was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

On Billy's Wings and Swift Ruby collided soon after the start.  Don The Sash, On Billy's Wings collided approaching the firt turn, checking On Billy's Wings.  Allen Quintus and Don The Sash collided approaching the first turn.  Rube's Ablaze and Swift Ruby collided on the first turn, checking Rube's Ablaze, Swift Ruby and Don The Sash.  On Billy's Wings and Rube's Ablaze raced wide on the home turn.

Nicky's Gift was slow to begin.  Manila Dawn and Ima Necromancer collided soon after the start, checking Manila Dawn.  Rooster Bush and Ima Necromancer collided approaching the first turn.  Unmid Bale, Desiree Dancer and Aston Viva collided on the first turn, severely checking Desiree Dancer.  Ima Necromancer galloped on the heels of Rooster Bush approaching the home turn.  Nicky's Gift checked off Rooster Bush entering the home straight and collided with Ima Necromancer.

A sample was taken from Aston Viva - the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to  handler Ms R.Shanks regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Ima Necromancer.  Stewards directed that Ima Necromancer be boxed first in future events.

Mousey McCoy was quick to begin.  Acey Boy checked off Marlow's Angel approaching the first turn.  Marlow's Angel, Lektra Flame and Supa Pass collided on the first turn, checking Lektra Flame.  Lektra Flame and Corleone collided on the home turn.  Corleone raced wide approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr A. Kenyon regarding the direction that the greyhound Lektra Flame be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
