Steward's Report
Prior to the running of this event Stewards inspected a section of the track near the first turn and deemed the surface safe for racing.
Out of Competition Samples were taken from Voluptuous Dot and Voluptous Ruby engaged in this event on 4 December 2017 pursuant to GAR 79A.
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Cartwheel Chloe and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6:37pm due to weight variatiuon (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. P. Galea was fined the sum of $100.
A pre race sample was taken from Voluptuous Dot.
Emilia Magic was quick to begin. Undercover Viv was slow to begin. Kev's Choice, Voluptuous Ruby and Sapphire Hawke collided soon after the start checking Kev's Choice and Voluptuous Ruby. Undercover Viv and Sapphire Hawke collided approaching the home turn checking Undercover Viv. Emilia Magic raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
