Charlott's Angel was quick to begin.  Trapezius was slow to begin.  Daintree Lilli went up with the lids at box rise and lost ground as a result.  Are You Serial was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Slow As Thunder and Bushman's Melody collided approaching the first turn.  Are You Serial and Daintree Lilli collided approaching the home turn.  Are You Serial checked off Bushman's Melody on the home turn.  Are You Serial and Bushman's Melody collided in the home straight.

Candy Defer was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Sunlit Conswala checked off Premier Back approaching the first turn.  Aranchnophobia and Dyna Ianto collided on the first turn.  Double Strike and Arachnophobia collided on the first turn checking Semantic Shift.  Sunlit Conswala and Double Strike collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Latissimus Dorsi.

Latissimus Dorsi was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Bushman's Legend and Missy Marlus collided soon after the start.  Al's San Bow, Shazza's Gift and Onyx Miss collided on the first turn checking Onyx Miss.  Al's San Bow and Kraken Titch collided on the home turn.

Stewards spoke to Mr H. Wilkinson, Handler of Lost Love and reminded him of his responsibilities with regards to obeying the Starter's instructions.

Dark Chance was a late scratching at 5.36pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a Left Back Muscle Injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Bert's Special was quick to begin.  Switch Girl was slow to begin.  Morta Bella checked off Humble Gun soon after the start.

Cast And Hungry was slow to begin.  Mantra Mick and Tamile Lass collided approaching the first turn.  Mantra Mick, Perfect Rider and Sam's General collided on the first turn checking Mantra Mick and Perfect Rider.

Just Run Left was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left wrist injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Twilight Liason was quick to begin.  Daintree Prinz was slow to begin.  Swift Knockout, Chook Richards and Cinnamon Cindy collided soon after the start.  Cinnamon Cindy checked off Daintree Prinz on the first turn.  Chook Richards, Cinnamon Cindy and Swift Knockout collided approaching the home turn.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Blazing Lane and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6.08pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer G. Campbell was fined the sum of $100.

A pre-race sample was taken from Hector Cabang.

Daintree Destroy and Quick Collision faltered soon after the start and pulled up as a result.  Hector Cabang checked off Sturridge on the first turn.

Daintree Destroy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture and dislocation to the left hock and was humanely euthanised.

Quick Collision was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hock, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards inspected the track in the back straight and on the first turn and believed the track was suitable for racing.

Spanish Coin was slow to begin.  Jai Jai Away, Call Me Crazy and Rosso collided on the first turn.  Cawbourne Mav and My Name's David collided on the first turn.  Spanish Coin checked off Rosso approaching the home turn.  Call Me Crazy and Rosso collided entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. C.Jackson, the trainer of Kamchatka Lass regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Kamchatka Lass last raced on 17th July 2017, Mr Jackson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a right metacarpal injury. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Mexican Terror.

Mister Blue and Kamchatka Lass collided soon after the start.  Razzle Oak checked off Daintree Teacake on the first turn checking Sublime Sull.

Miss Barbados was quick to begin.  Cosmic Moments checked off Miss Barbados approaching the first turn.  Cosmic Moments and Right Said Frank collided on the first turn.  Blackhawk Parker checked off Cosmic Wish on the first turn.  Zelemar Zest checked off Cosmic Wish approaching the home turn.  Zelemar Zest and Right Said Frank collided on the home turn.
