A trial of the GRV-endorsed ISO-LYNX real-time tracking system will be conducted throughout today's racing program. All race rugs used today are fitted with a location tracking beacon as part of this trial.

This meeting was declared hot weather affected. At the close of kennelling the outside temperature was 30.3 degrees and the kennel temperature was 19.6 degrees.

All About Corey was slow to begin.  Handpass crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Meehan Sox and Fairy Vixen.  Dyna Fabrice and Crackerjack Joff collided approaching the first turn.  All About Corey and Meehan Sox collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Fairy Vixen checked off Handpass on the first turn.  All About Corey checked off Crackerjack Roy in the home straight and collided with Meehan Sox as a result.

Timtams For Bams was quick to begin.  Too The Nail was slow to begin.  Sariah Allen and Taylor Bale collided soon after the start.  Top Alcohol brushed the running rail approaching the first turn.  Dyna Jacinta clipped the heels of Sariah Allen on the first turn and fell as a result.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Dyna Jacinta became partially dislodged during the running of the event.

Dyna Jacinta was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Verne Allen was quick to begin.  Astrology was slow to begin.  Tiggerlong Ray and King Colt collided approaching the first turn.  Tiggerlong Ray crossed to the outside approaching the first turn checking King Colt and Astrology.  King Colt and Loch Mac collided on the first turn.

Meeting Comments:

Gaza's Rooster was presented for a veterinary exam at the conclusion of kennelling. This greyhound was passed fit and was cleared to race.
