Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr R.Tartaglia, the trainer of Deflection regardng the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Deflection last raced on 25 June 2017.Mr Tartaglia stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a right hock injury.
Puzzles was quick to begin. Deflection, Zipping Lance and Belt Up Bubbs were slow to begin. Double Explosion and My Bro Regis collided several times approaching the first turn, checking Double Explosion. Belt Up Bubbs, Double Explosion and My Bro Regis collided on the first turn, checking Double Explosion, My Bro Regis, Chaddy Whacker and Deflection.. Deflection checked off My Bro Regis approaching the home turn. Puzzles and Belt Up Bubbs collided approaching the home turn. Belt Up Bubbs galloped on the heels of Puzzles on the home turn, checking Puzzles which raced wide and collided with Zipping Lance. Cloona Lass galloped on the heels of Belt Up Bubbs on the home turn. Puzzles and Double Explosion collided in the home straight. Deflection and Puzzles collided in the home straight, checking Deflection.
