Stewards spoke to Mr R.Tartaglia, the trainer of Deflection regardng the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Deflection last raced on 25 June 2017.Mr Tartaglia stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a right hock injury.

Stewards spoke to Mr D.Brennan, the trainer of Erica McKenna regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Erica McKenna last raced on 3 August 2017.Mr Brennan stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal. Mr Brennan declared a new weight of 24.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Erica McKenna last raced at 25.4kg.

Strickland was a late scratching at 4.18pm due to lameness in the right front leg (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
