Ess Bee was quick to begin. Dewana Special, Oshkosh Expert and Rosie Oh Rosie were slow to begin. Bobby's Baby and Loch Eddie collided soon after the start causing Bobby's Baby to fall and collided with the rail. Dewana Special checked off Hone In approaching the first turn and collided with Oshkosh Expert. Loch Eddie checked off Hone In on the first turn. Dashing Moments checked off Dewana Special on the first turn and collided with Oshkosh Expert. Oshkosh Expert checked off Dewana Special on the home turn. Rosie Oh Rosie checked off Loch Eddie on the home turn. Ess Bee marred Hone In approaching the finishing line.
Bobby's Baby was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Ess Bee was vetted following being sampled. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr A. Crouch, the Kennel Representative for Ess Bee. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Ess Bee with marring. Mr Crouch pleaded not guilty to the charge, Ess Bee was found guilty and suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.
