Meeting Advice: The kennel close time was extended by Stewards to allow for the arrival of several trainers who contacted the venue to advise of being caught out by the level-crossing closure on Camp Road.

Just Nimble It and Hillside Lady were quick to begin.  Varuchi Pass was slow to begin.  King Colt and Werner Bale collided soon after the start.  Werner Bale and Varuchi Pass collided soon after the start.  Bella's Ghost and Just Nimble It collided soon after the start.  Zipping Captain and Hillside Lady collided on the first turn.  Bella's Ghost checked off Just Nimble It on the first turn and collided with King Colt.  Werner Bale checked off King Colt on the first turn checking Varuchi Pass.  King Colt and Werner Bale collided on the first turn.  Bella's Ghost and Varuchi Pass collided on the second turn checking Varuchi Pass.  Werner Bale and Tahleia Brae collided on the home turn.  Zipping Captain and Hillside Lady collided on the home turn.

Runnin' On Fire was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Lektra Forrest was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 11.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr J. Loverso, the Kennel Representative of Lektra Forrest.  Stewards deemed the performance of Lektra Forrest unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Lektra Forrest must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ess Bee was quick to begin.  Dewana Special, Oshkosh Expert and Rosie Oh Rosie were slow to begin.  Bobby's Baby and Loch Eddie collided soon after the start causing Bobby's Baby to fall and collided with the rail.  Dewana Special checked off Hone In approaching the first turn and collided with Oshkosh Expert.  Loch Eddie checked off Hone In on the first turn.  Dashing Moments checked off Dewana Special on the first turn and collided with Oshkosh Expert.  Oshkosh Expert checked off Dewana Special on the home turn.  Rosie Oh Rosie checked off Loch Eddie on the home turn.  Ess Bee marred Hone In approaching the finishing line.

Bobby's Baby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Ess Bee was vetted following being sampled.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr A. Crouch, the Kennel Representative for Ess Bee. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Ess Bee with marring.  Mr Crouch pleaded not guilty to the charge, Ess Bee was found guilty and suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dyna Jacinta, Tiggerlong Thief, Kentucky Sun and Dyna Gavin were quick to begin.  Blue Reef was slow to begin.  Dyna Jacinta, Clovally Granite, Main One and Tiggerlong Thief collided soon after the start causing Dyna Jacinta to stumble and collided with Clovally Granite.  Blue Reef, Dyna Jacinta and Main One collided on the first turn.  Dyna Jacinta and Main One collided approaching the second turn.  Clovally Granite and Blue Reef collided approaching the second turn.  Allen Gable and Main One collided on the second turn and again in the back straight.  Tiggerlong Thief checked off Kentucky Sun in the back straight.  Blue Reef checked off Main One approaching the third turn.  Allen Gable and Clovally Granite collided on the home turn.

Whodat Magic and Royal Intention were quick to begin.  Ishmy Gloria, Blackhaven, Jaimandy Maureen and Vis Vitae were slow to begin.  Blackhaven and Jaimandy Maureen collided several times soon after the start.  Dyna Naitch and Whodat Magic collided on the first turn.  Ishmy Gloria galloped on the heels of Dyna Naitch on the first turn.  Whodat Magic checked off Mumma's Meatloaf on the first turn and collided with Ishmy Gloria, checking Blackhaven as a result.  Dyna Naitch and Ishmy Gloria collided on the second turn.  Blackhaven brushed the rail on the second turn checking Whodat Magic.  Blackhaven faded approaching the home turn.
