Following event 11 Stewards inspected the track at the first turn and deemed it safe for racing.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR69(B)(1)(a) & Blinkers) - Church Parade trialled over the 425m from box 1, weight 30.5kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4 starters. The time of the trial was 24.09, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.5 lengths. Church Parade was cleared all tracks and cleared to race in blinkers.
