Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr C.Treherne, the trainer of Luke's Gift regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Luke's Gift last raced on 13 July, 2017. Mr Treherne stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after a left hock injury.
Minka's Destiny and Stylish Billy collided soon after the start. Lil Blackbook and Ruby Cabang collided approaching the first turn. Ruby Cabang, Stylish Billy and Clovally Mansumi collided on the first turn. Ruby Cabang and Stylish Billy collided approaching the home turn, checking Ruby Cabang. Beejay's Atom checked off Clovally Mansumi on the home turn, causing Beejay's Atom to lose ground.
Beejay's Atom was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right groin, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
