Wadelock Venus, Seabrook Eb and Here's The Trump were slow to begin. Vintage Storm and Scarecrow Tiger collided soon after the start. Wadelock Venus and Scarecrow Tiger collided approaching the first turn. Seabrook Eb, Here's The Trump and Crackerjack Roy collided on the first turn. Wadelock Venus and Vintage Storm collided on the second turn, causing Wadelock Venus to fall.
Wadelock Venus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
