Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Fitzgerald, the kennel representative of Pamela Rocks regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Pamela Rocks last raced on 17th May, 2017.  Mr. Fitzgerald stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being on season.

Evil Pedro was quick to begin.

Odd Boots and Team Son raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards delayed giving the “All Clear” to view footage of the concluding stages of the event with regards to wildlife being on the track.  After viewing both the “head on” and “lateral vision” and acting on their own observations, Stewards were of the opinion that although Fabstar was checked by the wild life the overall placings were not affected.  All Clear was then given. 

Full Of Boloney was a late scratching at 2.32p.m. on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a torn nail. A five day stand down period was imposed.
