Steward's Report
Quando Quando and Slingshot Sambo was quick to begin. Zou Bisou Bisou and Umbridge Bale were slow to begin. Zou Bisou Bisou checked off Umbridge Bale on the first turn, Zou Bisou Bisou raced wide as a result. Cosmo Lass raced wide on the first turn. Quando Quando and Slingshot Sambo on the second turn. Shady Tex, Slingshot Sambo and Umbridge Bale collided on the home turn. Umbridge Bale and Shady Tex collided several times in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Delbridge, the handler of the greyhound Umbridge Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Umbridge Bale with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs. Delbridge pleaded guilty to the charge, Umbridge Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
