Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Star's Big Boy.
Donkey Tron and Standing Bear were slow to begin.
Donkey Tron, Standing Bear and Azza collided soon after the start, checking Azza. Star's Big Boy and Low Flying Plane collided at the 200m mark. Star's Big Boy checked off Low Flying Plane at the 150m mark.
Star's Big Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left sesamoid, biceps brachii and long head triceps (monkey) muscle. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Handler, Mr Jason Hardy regarding the direction that the greyhound Tricky Trey be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
