Blue Afro was a late scratching at 7.58am due to the trainer being ill (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Rose Of Dyanna.
Rose Of Dyanna and Team Son were slow to begin.
Bear Magic and Rosie Sprite collided several times from the 250mtr mark to the 150mtr mark. Team Son crossed to the outside approaching the 150mtr mark. Bear magic checked off Rosie Sprite at the 100mtr mark.

You Betcha Jorge last raced on 17th December, 2016. Ms Powell stated that the greyhound was returning from a left achilles injury.
