Ah Sugar Sugar was a late scratching at 6.26 pm, due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr Rodney Clark was fined the sum of $100.

Magic Shianne was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury detected.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Wright, the trainer of Lightning Frank regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Lightning Frank last raced on 5th May, 2017.  Mr. Wright stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following an extended spell.
