Ninetymile Toby was slow to begin. Ninetymile Toby and Exhibition collided soon after the start. Rock It Ronny, Swift Trent and Poor Old Frank collided approaching the first turn. Tycore Lad and Rock It Ronny collided on the first turn. Ninetymile Toby and Exhibition collided on the first turn. Poor Old Frank checked off Sam's General on the first turn. Tycore Lad and Sam's General collided approaching the home turn. Rock It Ronny and Swift Trent collided approaching the home turn. Bar King Buddy galloped on the heels of Rock It Ronny approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Tycore Lad and Sam's General collided entering the home straight. Bar King Buddy and Rock It Ronny collided entering the home straight checking Bar King Buddy. Ninetymile Toby and Swift Trent raced wide in the home straight. Exhibition and Sam's General collided approaching the winning post.
