Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Prince Cheviot.
Cardamom and Shakey Sally collided soon after the start checking Shakey Sally. Full Off Boloney and River Crossing collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Cardamom and Allen Optic collided on the first turn causing Allen Optic to fall. Cardamom clipped the heels of Shakey Sally approaching the home turn. Meteor Thunder and Nangar Rock collided on the home turn. Cardamom and Full Of Boloney collided in the home straight.
Meteor Thunder vas vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind toe and a spike wound to the left foreleg. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.
Allen Optic was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
