Kalara, Shy Freddie and Baker Street were slow to begin. Kalara and Shy Freddie collided approaching the first turn. Baker Street and Golden Blaze collided approaching the first tuen checking Baker Street. Destini Cheetah, Podium Sensation and Juggernaut Train collided approaching the first turn. Shy Freddie checked off Podium Sensation on the first turn checking Baker Street. Golden Blaze crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Juggernaut Train and severely checking Podium Sensation and Shy Freddie. Baker Street checked off Podium Sensation approaching the home turn. Ginza Lion faltered in the home straight and lost ground.
Ginza Lion was vetted following the event. It was report that the greyhound sustained an injury to the gracilis muscle, a 60 day stand down preiod was imposed.
