I'm Neegan was slow to begin.  Sultan's Girl went up with the lids at boxrise and was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  I'm Neegan and Hurricane Elyse collided soon after the start.  Chucky Thump, Corleone and Boydy collided approaching the first turn checking Chucky Thump and Corleone.  Need A Zac crossed to the rail on the first turn checking I'm Neegan and Boydy and causing Need A Zac to stumble.  Sultan's Girl galloped on Hurricane Elyse on the first turn checking Hurricane Elyse.  I'm Neegan checked off Corleone entering the home straight.

A pre race sample was taken from Magic Seal.

Magic Seal and Mt. View Gift were quick to begin. Hurricane Sam was slow to begin. Hurricane Patch crossed in soon after the start checking Sunset Kay and severely checking Sultan's Pride which stumbled as a result. Magic Seal marred Evie Louise in the back straight severely checking Evie Louise and Mt. View Gift; Evie Louise and Mt. View Gift race wide as a result. Magic Seal eased on the first turn and raced wide. Hurricane Sam checked off Zahhak Zac on the first turn.  Evie Louise checked off Magic Seal approaching the winning post.  Magic Seal eased approaching the winning post checking Evie Louise.

Magic Seal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Trainer, Mr K. Bailey declined the option of having the greyhound re vetted.

Stewards contacted Mr K. Bailey, the trainer of the greyhound via telephone regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the back straight.  acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Magic Seal with marring.  Mr Bailey pleaded guilty to the charge, Magic Seal was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sultan's Pride was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind pencil muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Hurricane Patch was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right foreleg and right hind leg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Apila Cabbage was a late scratching at 3:07pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to a papilloma on the left hind webbing.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Mia Crazy.

Mia Crazy, Siver Lightning, Wolowizard and Tru Blu Keats collided soon after the start checking all four greyhounds.  Mia Crazy and Tru Blue Keats collided on the first turn.  Mia Crazy, Tru Blu Keats and Sharks Glory collided in the back straight checking Tru Blu Keats and Sharks Glory.  Tru Blu Keats and Sharks Glory collided in the back straight.  Siver Lightning galloped on Wolowizard on the second turn.  Siver Lightning and Wolowizard collided approaching the home turn checking Wolowizard.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Timeless Rose and no illness was detected.  The greyhound was a late scratching at 2:50pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer Mr. P. Trim was fined the sum of $100.

Black Eclipse was quick to begin.  Dr. Colt and Lamington Lass were slow to begin.  Slick Assassian and Jamari Belle collided approaching the first turn.  Dr.Colt and Lamington Lass collided on the first turn and again in the back straight. Galloping Benny, Slick Assassian and Smurftastic collided on the first turn and again in the back straight.

Trim City was a late scratching on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to a papilloma on the right front webbing,.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Tiger Girl was quick to begin.  Ends Well was slow to begin.  Drogma, Apila Moola and Rusty Sidebottom collided on the first turn checking Apila Moola, Rusty Sidebottom and Who's Irod;  Rusty Sidebottom and Who's Irod raced wide as a result.  It's Debatable and Apila Moola collided in the back straight severely checking It's Debatable.

Stewards spoke to the handler Mr. S. Melville regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Drogma.  Stewards directed that Drogma be boxed first in future events.

Phil's In Luck was quick to begin.  Dr. Luvdisc and Try Me were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Blue Not Black and Riverside Mons collided approaching the first turn checking Riverside Mons and Dr. Luvdisc.  Blue Not Black and Mandela Sun collided on the first turn checking Mandela Sun.  Try Me checked off Oriental Lord entering the back straight.  Riverside Mons and Mandela Sun collided in the back straight.  Dr. Luvdisc checked off Oriental Lord on the second turn. Try Me checked off Dr. Luvdisc on the home turn.  Riverside Mons and Mandela Sun collided entering the home straight.

Banjo Barbie was quick to begin.  Totally Fab and Sacred Diamond collided soon after the start.  Destini Mermaid, Bekim Fire and Totally Fab collided approaching the first turn checking Totally Fab.  Johnny Bullet crossed to the rail on the first turn causing Destini Mermaid, Totally Fab and Sacred Diamond to collide; Sacred Diamond raced wide as a result.  Dyna Zaynabi checked off Banjo Barbie approaching the second turn.  Bekim Fire, Destini Mermaid and Totally Fab collided approaching the second turn checking Destini Mermaid and Totally Fab.  Sacred Diamond checked off  Bekim Fire on the third turn.

Eagle Princess and Remembering Dad were quick to begin.  Two Toes Tony and Starlit Dragon were slow to begin. Long Live Sid checked off Extra Kisses soon after the start.  Extra Kisses checked off  Remembering Dad on the first turn causing Was A Banker to gallop on Extra Kisses; both greyhounds lost ground as a result.  Was A Banker and Remembering Dad collided entering the home straight

Black Bindi and Cotton Bud Joe collided on the home turn.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Black Odessa trialled over the 315m from box 1, weight 29.1kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 18.31, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.0 lengh.  Black Odessa was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Hurricane Lucas trialled over the 315m from box 3, weight 32.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 18.31, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 12.50 lengths. Hurricane Lucas was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Ultimate Connor trialled over the 315m from box 6, weight 31.0kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 18.31, the greyhound won by a margin of .25 lengths. Ultimate Connor was Cleared.
