Padma Grange was a late scratching at 10.38 AM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to tonsillitis. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Ms D. White was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration papers/registration card were produced for the greyhound Church Parade pursuant to GAR 33.

Kennels closed approximately 7 minutes after the allocated time due to the Club's Veterinary Surgeon being required to examine a greyhound prior to kennelling.

Miss Springer and Church Parade were slow to begin.

Secret Business and Sight Screen collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Church Parade and Steppin' Out collided on the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Church Parade checked off Steppin' Out approaching the winning post.

Church Parade was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Ms D. White, the trainer of Church Parade regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.

No Excuse and Key Fiasco were slow to begin.

Hawk Forever checked off Cinnamon Cindy approaching the first turn.  Ultimate Return, Key Fiasco and No Excuse collided approaching the first turn.  Out Of Alcatraz, Marcus Daking and Cinnamon Cindy collided on the first turn checking Marcus Daking.  Out Of Alcatraz checked off Cinnamon Cindy on the first turn checking Good Luck Mick and No Excuse.  Key Fiasco and Hawk Forever collided on the first turn checking Hawk Forever. No Excuse and Out Of Alcatraz collided approaching the home turn checking Out Of Alcatraz.

Bonnie Blue, Quicksilver Hope, Platinum Osti and Zenstar collided on the first turn checking Quicksilver Hope, Platinum Osti and Zenstar.

Mystic Melody was quick to begin.

Fantasy Skye and Trademark Rocky collided soon after the start.  Cassius Spirit, Fantasy Skye, Trademark Rocky, Paints A Story and Little Bit Shiny collided soon after the start checking Fantasy Skye, Trademark Rocky and Paints A Story.  Fantasy Skye, Paints A Story and Little Bit Shiny collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Mystic Melody, Cassius Spirit and Storm Train collided approaching the home turn checking Mystic Melody.  Cassius Spirit, Storm Train and Vintage Storm collided approaching the home turn checking Storm Train and Vintage Storm. Vintage Storm crossed to the rail entering the home straight checking Mystic Melody.

Little Bit Shiny was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Carlanna Casey was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle and right quadriceps injuries, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to trainer's representative Mrs. K. Repia regarding the performance of Yeah Nah Bro. She agreed the performance was disappointing, but stated that the greyhound races best when able to obtain a leading position, and was not suited by racing in a midfield position after being hampered on the first turn in today's event. Stewards noted the explanation.

Tiggerlong Scar crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Midfield Maestro, Danger Bale and Wise Harry.  Swift Trent, Just Run Left and Wise Harry collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Wise Harry, Danger Bale and Supreme Prince collided approaching the home turn checking Danger Bale and Supreme Prince.  Midfield Maestro galloped on Tiggerlong Scar approaching the winning post causing Tiggerlong Scar to lose ground.

Patchie Bear was slow to begin.

Chabay Laray and Scott Pizzazz collided soon after the start.  Maximum Dos and Leachwood Lass collided approaching the first turn.  Scott Pizzazz checked off Chabay Laray on the first turn.  Just Curtis checked off Chabay Laray on the first turn checking Maximum Dos, Leachwood Lass and Patchie Bear.  Leachwood Lass checked off Maximum Dos approaching the home turn.  Chabay Laray and Scott Pizzazz collided approaching the first turn checking Chabay Laray.  Patchie Bear checked off Chabay Laray on the home turn.  Maximum Dos raced wide on the home turn.

Red Lagoon was quick to begin.

Catsford Allan, Nolita Nelly and Severus Grange collided soon after the start.  Nolita Nelly crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Nolita Nelly, Shadae, Storm Search and Hillbilly Hell.  Nolita Nelly and Storm Search collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Nolita Nelly and Hillbilly Hell collided entering the home straight.

Lord Regnar and Advice Aplenty collided soon after the start.  Glamorous Cheech, Lord Regnar and Call Me Swift collided approaching the first turn checking Glamorous Cheech, Lord Regnar, Call Me Swift and Coopnarcha.  Glamorous Cheech galloped on Advice Aplenty on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Call Me Swift checked off Coopnarcha on the home turn.

One Mississippi and Mystic Powers collided soon after the start.  Campari Lad and Mystic Powers collided approaching the home turn checking Mystic Powers.  Fiery Miss and Blue Magnum collided approaching the home turn checking Fiery Miss.

Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Fail to Chase due to injury.

Ace Gone Wild trialled over the 390mtrs from box 1, weight 33.2kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.38, the greyhound won by a margin of 4.5 lengths.  Ace Gone Wild was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results: 6 Months

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Fisher, the trainer of Garku Bale regarding the length of time the greyhound last raced.  Garku Bale last raced on 14/12/2016.  Mr Fisher stated that the greyhound was returning from a spell.  Pursuant to GAR 77A, Garku Bale trialled over the 450mtrs from box 1, weight 32.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4.  The time of the trail was 26.08, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3.75 lengths, Garku Bale was cleared.
