Stewards spoke to Ms Melissa Payne, the trainer of Tooka Half, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tooka Half last raced on14 March 2017. Ms Payne stated that the greyhound had changed kennels.
A pre-race sample was taken from Tooka Half.
Hello Slick was slow to begin. Oakmont Octum was very slow to begin (3L).
It Gets Better and Bending Bananas collided approaching the first turn. Bending Bananas, Tooka Half and Macalister Sam collided on the first turn, checking Tooka Half.
