It's Magic and Lady Tron were slow to begin. Puffin' Stuff, Fipa Middleton and Kibosh collided soon after the start, checking Fipa Middleton. Kibosh checked off Lady Tron approaching the first turn, checking It's Magic. Puffin' Stuff and Lady Tron collided on the first turn. Doyen King and Call Me Swift collided approaching the home turn. It's Magic and Fipa Middleton collided approaching the home turn. Doyen King and Call Me Swift collided in the home straight.
Fipa Middleton was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right gracilis (back) muscle. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
