Dyna Quarter, Flying Vulcan and Not Loitering were slow to begin. Not Loitering, Morrigan  Ailis, Riverdale Danger and Boney Power collided on the first turn checking Riverdale Danger and Flying Vulcan. Riverdale Danger and Dazzling Melody collided on the first turn. Boney Power and Riverdale Danger bumped heavily several times on the home turn and in the home straight. Flying Vulcan raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Dyna Quarter was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right quadraceps. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Lila Bale. A post race sample was subsequently taken.

Geopark Ruby, Dyna Misty, Jumbo Bale, Lila Bale and Dyna Lokey collided soon after the start checking Dyna Misty, Jumbo Bale and Dyna Lokey. Dyna Lokey galloped on the heels of Lottie Glenda on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Lottie Glenda and Jumbo Bale collided on the home turn. Lottie Glenda shifted out and severely checked Dyna Lokey on the home turn. Dyna Lokey checked off the heels of Lottie Glenda and collided with Geopark Ruby in the home straight.

Andrea Dailly, trainer of Lektra Stroll declared a new weight of 31.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Lektra Stroll last raced at 30.1kg.

Zipping Danii, It's A Kiss and Dazzling City were slow to begin. Lektra Stroll, Dyna Hadria and Xenon Bale collided on the first turn checking Dyna Hadria and Xenon Bale. It's A Kiss checked off the heels of Jaclyn Bale approaching the home turn. Zipping Danii and Jaclyn Bale collided on the home turn.

Mrs A Dailly was reminded of her obligations to ensure the correct race rug is placed on her greyhound prior to scanning out for racing. 

Marko Bale was slow to begin. Duty Free, Dyna Oriental and Jacey Allen collided soon after the start, checking Dyna Oriental. Duty Free and Jacey Allen collided approaching the first turn checking Jacey Allen. Jacey Allen checked off Pistachios on the home turn.

Reignlee, Rapana and Oz Ten Tatious were quick to begin. Allen Eamon, Ripsaw Ronny and Canya Touche collided soon after the start checking Ripsaw Ronny and Canya Touche. Tricky Tron and Reignlee collided approaching the first turn checking Reignlee. Tricky Tron and Sudoku Flash collided on the first turn checking Tricky Tron.

Allen Kelvin was very slow to begin (3L). Da Bont, Allen Quake and Premier Ching collided soon after the start checking Allen Quake. Da Bont, Cruisy's Lil and Premier Ching collided on the first turn checking Premier Ching. Premier Ching, Allen Quake and Allen Kelvin collided approaching the second turn checking Allen Quake and Allen Kelvin. Cruisy's Lil and Valder Bale collided on the home turn. Golden Tears was slow to begin. Crump's Beauty crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Repelo Muggletum, Erelda Bale and Crump's Princess. Crump's Beauty, Blazin' Bomber and Golden Tears collided on the first turn checking Golden Tears and Erelda Bale.

Barton Bale and Bambalam Tilly were slow to begin. Kouta Mayhem, Pomp Fiction and Parisian Magic collided soon after the start checking Pomp Fiction. Zipping Arnold checked off the heels of Sub Zero Magic on the first turn checking Barton Bale.

Mr. C. Grenfell, trainer of Xavier's Mate declared a new weight of 31.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Xavier's Mate last raced at 30.5kg.
