Steward's Report
Mr Kevin Lingard, trainer of Carve, declared a new weight of 31.3 kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Carve last raced at 32.5 kgs.
Merriview Boss and Carve were slow to begin. Carve faltered at the 300m mark and tailed off as a result. White Diamond and Duke Of Dallas collided at the 275m mark. Acey Boy and Addictive Riley collided at the 150m mark.
Carve was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle and chest muscle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
