Steward's Report

Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Glover, the trainer of Kazmic's Spirit, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Kazmic's Spirit Ike last raced on 26 February 2017.  Mr Glover stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a spur removed from its toe.

A pre-race sample was taken from Sissy Monsoon.

Kazmic's Spirit was slow to begin.  Hugh Made Who was quick to begin.  Blazing Nitro, Sissy Monsoon and Redda collided soon after the start.  Blazing Nitro and Redda collided several times at the 250m mark.  Kerrie's One, Sissy Monsoon and Kazmic's Spirit collided several times at the 250m mark.  Sissy Monsoon checked off the heels of Kazmic's Spirit at the 150m mark.  Kazmic's Spirit and Kerrie's One collided at the 150m mark.  Kerrie's One checked off Redda at the 150m mark.  Snap Hook and Reddan collided approaching the winning post, checking Snap Hook.
