The start of this event was rescheduled to 7.50pm due to a malfunction of the compressor at the boxes. As a result all races were put back 2 races with race 11 to commence at 11.05pm and race 12 to commence at 11.20pm.

Minca Man was slow to begin.  Speedcar Skip, Twilight Cruiser, All Inn Amber, Taiyoo Alphonse, Lena's Entity and Minca Man collided soon after the start checking Twilight Cruiser, Taiyoo Alphonse and Lena's Entity, severely checking All Inn Amber.  Speedcar Skip galloped on the heels of Lily Latief approaching the first turn, severely checking Speedcar Skip.  Lena's Entity galloped on the heels of Speedcar Skip on the first turn.  Twilight Cruiser and Taiyoo Alphonse collided on the first turn.  Speedcar Skip and Lena's Entity collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.

Speedcar Skip was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind, no stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Jarvis, the trainer of Speedcar Skip regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing. Stewards charged Mr Jarvis with a breach of GAR 46(2) in that he failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound Speedcar Skip. Mr Jarvis pleaded guilty to the charge. Stewards found Mr Jarvis guilty and issued a fine of $100.

Onya Jatt and No Worries Buddy were quick to begin.  Lilly's Entity and Skipalong Kellly were slow to begin.  Skipalong Kelly and Barby Que collided soon after the start, severely checking Skipalong Kelly.  Lilly's Entity and Barby Que collided approaching the first turn.  No Worries Buddy checked off Demi approaching the first turn.  Better Go galloped on the heels of Billiluna on the first turn.  Demi and Barby Que collided on the first turn, severely checking Barby Que.  Skipalong Kelly raced wide on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Better Go and Billiluna collided entering the home straight.

Blazing Spirit was slow to begin.  Ultimate Paddy and Kalimna Express collided soon after the start, severely checking Ultimate Paddy.  Har, Kalimna Express and Vintage Queen collided approaching the first turn, checking Kalimna Express and Vintage Queen.  Pure Sacrifice and Maeby Allen collided approaching the first turn.  Blazing Spirit, Kalimna Express, Vintage Queen and Kraken Tobias collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Kalimna Express, severely checking Vintage Queen which stumbled as a result.  Vintage Queen and Kalimna Express collided on the first turn checking Kalimna Express.  Blazing Spirit and Kraken Tobias collided several times on the first turn checking Blazing Spirit.  Pure Sacrifice, Har and Maeby Allen collided approaching the home turn.  Kraken Tobias and Pure Sacrifice collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Hone In was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Jackpot Time was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Fruit Spice was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right fore toe, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards issued a warning to Mr P. Bartlett, Handler of Fruit Spice, regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.
