A pre race sample was taken from Like A Fancy.
Van Damm and Proven Pops were slow to begin. Rose Magic, Dodge Ball and Juggie Superfish collided soon after the start, checking Dodge Ball. Van Damm and Dodge Ball collided approaching the 250m mark. Rose Magic raced wide approaching the 250m mark. Hide The Wallet crossed to the rail approaching the 200m mark. Dodge Ball and Juggie Superfish collided approaching the 200m mark. Proven Pops checked off Hide The Wallet approaching the 150m mark. Dodge Ball and Juggie Superfish collided approaching the 150m mark and again at the 150m mark
Like A Fancy was vetted following a fall in the catching pen after the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right wrist, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
