Steward's Report
Ima Reality, Stealthy Swift and Gutsy Manolis collided soon after the start. Stealthy Swift and Gutsy Manolis collided approaching the first turn. Ima Reality and Stealthy Swift collided on the first turn checking Stealthy Swift. Ava's Shadow checked off Buckle Up Ivy approaching the home turn. Ava's Shadow and Ima Reality collided approaching the home turn. Buckle Up Ivy crossed to the outside in the home straight and collided with Calabrese Coco. Buckle Up Ivy marred the running of Calabrese Coco approaching the winning post.
Buckle Up Ivy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Burns, the trainer of the greyhound Buckle Up Ivy regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Buckle Up Ivy with marring. Mr. Burns pleaded not guilty to the charge. Buckle Up Ivy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
