Delcorn Potts was slow to begin. Barb Allen, Windmills, Fast Freddie and Jack's Lass collided soon after the start, checking Windmills. Jack's Lass, Fast Freddie and Windmills collided approaching the first turn, checking Fast Freddie and Windmills. Jack's Lass, Barb Allen and Five Mississippi collided on the first turn, checking Bush Hero and Five Mississippi. Windmills and Fast Freddie collided on the first turn. Bush Hero checked off Five Mississippi approaching the home turn. Windmills checked off Jack's Lass on the home turn and raced wide. Delcorn Potts raced wide on the home turn.
