Bush Ace was a late scratching at 8:36pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury to the left front toe. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Canya Ayden and Scarlet Blu Boy were slow to begin. Tiger Tees and Alannah's Gem collided soon after the start, checking Tiger Tees.
