Tiggerlong Ray, Zulu Top and Jockey Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Tiggerlong Ray and Zulu Top. Zulu Top, Merl's Blaze and Okay Custard collided on the first turn checking Merl's Blaze. Merl's Blaze raced wide in the home straight.

The correct numbers 1 8 4 6 initially appeared on the semaphore board prior to being inadvertanly changed to 8 4 6 2.  This was corrected by the judge to 1 8 4 6 and the all clear was then notified.

A pre race sample was taken from Strength To Wyn.

Snapchat Queen was quick to begin. Ledgerwood Molly and Strength To Wyn collided approaching the first turn checking Strength To Wyn. Just Like Didda checked off Dyna Kelly approaching the home turn and collided with Back On Lava. Strength To Wyn checked off Ledgerwood Molly entering the home straight. Ledgerwood Molly and Strength To Wyn collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Strength To Wyn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained bruising to the right hind paw.

A pre-race sample was taken from Minnie Ha Ha upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Joycee Rae was slow to begin. Cloe's Intention and Victo Bale collided soon after the start checking Victo Bale. Minnie Ha Ha crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Jemma's Fantasy and Free Auto. Air Commander and Joycee Rae collided approaching the home turn. Minnie Ha Ha contacted the running rail approaching the home turn checking Jemma's Fantasy. Victo Bale raced wide through out the event.

Minnie Ha Ha was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right sartorius muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Aston Bolero.

Ernie Old was slow to begin. Blackpool Chuck, Desert Oasis and Quedos collided soon after the start. Aston Bolero, Lunar Eclipse, Thunder Of Sky, Right Said Frank, Desert Oasis and Quedos collided on the first turn checking Lunar Eclipse, Right Said Frank, Aston Bolero, Blackpool Chuck and Desert Oasis. Right Said Frank checked off Thunder Of Sky on the home turn. Right Said Frank and Blackpool Chuck collided in the home straight causing Right Said Frank to  become unbalanced.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Borg, the trainer of Myrniong Corner regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Myrniong Corner last raced on 31st December, 2016.  Mr. Borg stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following an injury to the right achilles tendon.

Myrniong Corner was slow to begin. Sarah Swift, Who Told Simon and Angel Of Glory collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn, checking Who Told Simon and Angel Of Glory. Dance Craze and Myrniong Corner collided on the first turn checking Dance Craze. Any Other Union checked off Myrniong Corner approaching the home turn. Gotham Queen and Sarah Swift collided approaching the home turn. Gotham Queen and Myrniong Corner collided entering the home straight.

Rick Grimes was slow to begin. Dancing Baroque and Mepunga Tyler collided soon after the start checking Mepunga Tyler. Mepunga Tyler, Fabriola Allen and Promises Kept collided approaching  the first turn checking Fabriola Allen and Promises Kept. Lucky Brew and Rockstar Troy collided on the first turn. Rockstar Troy and Mepunga Tyler collided on the first turn checking Promises Kept, Dancing Baroque, Rick Grimes, and severely checking Mepunga Tyler. Dancing Baroque raced wide on the home turn. 

Mepunga Tyler was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds on the left hindleg, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Dancing Baroque was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triceps and sartorius muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Unique Replica was quick to begin. Rockin' Rico, Our Turbo Boy and Dream Future collided approaching the first turn. Our Didda, Dream Future and Our Turbo Boy collided on the first turn checking Our Turbo Boy and Dream Future. Kraken Tobias checked off Sunset Oasis approaching the home turn. Our Turbo Boy and Sunset Oasis collided several times in the home straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced

Sunset Oasis was vetted following the event. It was reported that greyhound sustained lacerations to the right foreleg, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Emio Bale crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Mi Blue Day, Just A Dot and Seven Two. Jewel Fantasy clipped the heels of Barry Bomber in the back straight and lost ground. Jewel Fantasy and Emio Bale collided in the home straight. 

Seven Two was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left gracilis muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. 

The photo finish camera failed to capture an image. The Judge used the back up system to determine placings.

Mepunga Tycoon and Unlocked collided soon after the start checking Unlocked and Lektra Rival. Perceptive and Unlocked collided approaching the first turn checking Unlocked. Roman Around and Unlocked collided on the first turn checking Unlocked. Grand Maximus checked off Perceptive approaching the home turn. Lektra Rival and Grand Maximum collided approaching the home turn checking Lektra Rival.

A sample was taken from Mepunga Tycoon - the winner of the event.

Cloona Express and Due Process collided soon after the start. Kiranna and Leachwood Lass collided approaching the first turn checking Leachwood Lass. Cloona Express and Moltisanti collided on the first turn checking Molitsanti. Due Process and Dynamic Couldron collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Due Process and Dynamic Couldron raced wide in the home straight.

Seabrook Dill was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

College Queen and Emi's Boy Murph collided approaching the home turn checking College Queen. College Queen checked off Barked Off approaching the home turn.
