Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Riverdale Sugar upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Tiggerlong Ray, Zulu Top and Jockey Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Tiggerlong Ray and Zulu Top. Zulu Top, Merl's Blaze and Okay Custard collided on the first turn checking Merl's Blaze. Merl's Blaze raced wide in the home straight.
A sample was taken from Heat Up - the winner of the event.
The correct numbers 1 8 4 6 initially appeared on the semaphore board prior to being inadvertanly changed to 8 4 6 2. This was corrected by the judge to 1 8 4 6 and the all clear was then notified.
