Nosey was vetted following the event after the greyhound performed below market expectations.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Walker the trainer of Nosey regarding the greyhound's performance tonight.  Mr. Walker stated that the greyhound had not regained its best form since returning to racing following a fall.  Stewards noted the explanation and took no further action.

Banjo King and Peninsula Panda were slow to begin.  Diamond Maxine and Addictive Bryce collided soon after the start causing Diamone Maxine to race wide.  Jett Zafonic was checked off Pia on the first turn checking Jett Zafonic and Hercules Bale.  Jett Zafonic and Hercules Bale collided approaching the home turn.  Addictive Bryce and Early Thunder collided on the home turn.

Good Girl Sandy was quick to begin.  Shanlyn George and Aston Harpo were slow to begin.  Wadelock Sampson and Zall Good collided soon after the start checking Zall Good.  Tiny Bopper and Gotham Queen collided soon after the start checking Tiny Bopper.  Aston Harpo and Shanlyn George collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Gotham Queen and Wadelock Sampson collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Stewards spoke to Mrs R. Busuttil, the trainer of Mizuki regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mizuki last raced on 21 February, 2017 and is returning from a right achilles injury. Mrs Busuttil also declared a new weight of 32.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Mizuki last raced at 31.6kg.

My Lilly was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted 30 minutes later, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right stopper, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
