Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Nicholas Sheehan, the trainer of Mega Jewels, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mega Jewels last raced on 23 February 2017. Mr Sheehan stated that Mega Jewels was returning to race after suffering a shoulder injury.
West Side Jet was quick to begin. Call Me Ernie and Blue Magnum were slow to begin.
Mega Jewels and Boo Star collided soon after the start. Mega Jewels and Blue Magnum collided soon after the start. Myrtle Grange and Kraken Betty collided on the first turn, checking Kraken Betty. Boo Star, Blue Magnum and Kraken Betty collided approaching the home turn, checking Kraken Betty. Call Me Ernie checked off Full Of Charm approaching the home turn.
