Steward's Report
Emeritus was a late scratching at 7:20 pm, due to non arrival (GAR 31). As Stewards were aware of the extenuating circumstances no stand down penalty was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Mousey McCoy.
Lilty Allen was quick to begin. Mousey McCoy was slow to begin. Right Said Frank, Campeon and Roller Bale collided soon after the start. Right Said Frank, Campeon, Roller Bale and Eranna Bale collided on the first turn. Mousey McCoy galloped on the heels of Roller Bale on the first turn, causing Roller Bale to fall and failed to finish, and Mousey McCoy stumbled and lost ground. Lilty Allen checked off the heels of Marlow's Angel on the first turn. Right Said Frank shifted out and collided with Lilty Allen several times on the home turn. Lilty Allen stumbled and lost ground approaching the winning post.
Lilty Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hindleg thigh injury, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
