Molly's Money and Mister Pickles collided entering the home straight. Missy Marlus and Bold Spirit collided in the home straight.

Hillbilly Kisses was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left wrist and right tensor fascia muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Mepunga Diego was a late scratching at 14.23 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr G. Webb was fined the sum of $100.

Tiny Octane was slow to begin. River End, Cosmic Tool and Tat Odin collided soon after the start checking River End. Chillby and Tiny Octane collided approaching the first turn checking Chillby. Yabba Dabba Do checked off Chillby on the first turn.

Stewards spoke to Ms S. Doust, trainer of Gidgee's Boss regarding the greyhound being difficult to load.  Ms Doust will engage a Handler in future.  No further action was taken.

Canadash was quick to begin. Johnny Dunbar was slow to begin. Natari checked off Cosmo Lass soon after the start. Canadash and Cassius Spirit collided on the first turn checking Cassius Spirit. Crackerjack Boof and Cosmo Lass collided approaching the home turn checking Crackerjack Boof. Natari checked off Cosmo Lass on the home turn, Natari raced wide as a result. Crackerjack Boof checked off Johnny Dunbar in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Megan-Lee Mason, the handler of Dream Wave regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Dream Wave last raced on 23/2017. Ms Mason stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being seasonal and following a change of kennels.  

Ms. Mason, handler of  Dream Wave declared a new weight of 25.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Dream Wave last raced at 26.5kg.

Boo Star, All Inn Hunter and Beksun were slow to begin. Clovalley Mauri and Dream Wave collided soon after the start checking Dream Wave. Cullquin Ghengis and Winston Cruise collided approaching the first turn. All Inn Hunter, Beksun, Mya Memories and Clovalley Mauri collided on the first turn checking Beksun and Mya Memories. Mya Memories and Dream Wave collided on the home turn. Boo Star and Cullquin Ghengis colllide approaching the winning post checking Cullquin Ghengis.

Minotaur was slow to begin. Bolare, Manhattan Man and Team Son collided on the first turn checking Manhattan Man. All Inn Tara, Claretown Boris and Team Son collided entering the home straight. All Inn Tara and Claretown Boris collided in the home straight. All Inn Tara, Claretown Boris and Minotaur collided approaching the winning post.

All Inn Tara was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Patchie Thief was quick to begin. Proven Les, Good Boloney and Spring Slater were slow to begin. Proven Les galloped on the heels of Kraken Titch approaching the first turn, checking Kraken Titch. Kraken Titch, Proven Les, Good Boloney and Spring Slater collided on the first turn checking Proven Les, Good Boloney and Spring Slater. Double Dealer and Tanazoo collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Banjo Barbie and Doobstar were slow to begin. Power Sensation and Snippyliss collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Quick Collision checked off Blazing Lane on the first turn. Quick Collision and Power Sensation collided approaching the home turn. Quick Collision and Blazing Lane collided on the home turn.

Just Banji and Miss Premier were slow to begin. Gammy's Choice checked off Miss Premier on the first turn. Hillbilly Spunk, Cosmic Lotus and Miss Premier collided approaching the home turn checking Cosmic Lotus. Hillbilly Spunk and Miss Premier collided on the home turn checking Hillbilly Spunk.

Good Humour, Rosso and Mudslinger were slow to begin. Windmills, Reverend John and Bev's Girl collided on the first turn checking Windmills and Reverend John and severely checking Good Humour. Rosso raced wide on the home turn.

Pop Wright was a late scratching at 18:04 on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury to the right hind leg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Chrissy Pee, Morta Bella and Heartbreak Mary were slow to begin. Podium Express, Blue Magnum and Manhattan Mandy collided on the first turn severely checking Podium Express, Blue Magnum, Morta Bella, Heartbreak Mary and Manhattan Mandy; Heartbreak Mary fell as a result.

Heartbreak Mary was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fracture to the left forearm (radius/ulna), and was humanely euthanased.

Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Shooter's Odysey trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 28.9kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was22.50, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.5L. Shooter's Odysey was Cleared.
