Buzz Rash and Poppy's Way were quick to  begin.  Buzz Rash crossed in soon after the start checking Edna Sparkle and severley checking Jack Hammer.  Water Colour and Poppy's Way collided approaching the first turn checking Poppy's Way.  Bill Heeny raced wide on the home turn.  Water Colour and Buzz Rash collided entering the home straight.  Zipping Moore was checked off Over Indulgence in the home straight.  Edna Sparkle raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Urana Smacko.

Bolt Cutter was quick to begin.  Tiger Ty Vic and Two Dollar Pints were slow to begin.  Bolt Cutter and Dudley Fields collided approaching the first turn checking Bolt Cutter which lost ground as a result.  Dudley Fields was checked off Urana Smacko on the home turn.  Two Dollar Pints raced wide on the home turn and very wide in the home straight.  Blue Cat Wombat raced wide in the home straight.  Dudley Fields veered in and marred Urana Smacko in the home straight.

Two Dollar Pints was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right chest, a 7 day stand period was imposed.

Bolt Cutter was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right pencil muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dudley Fields was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Jones the representative of the greyhound Dudley Fields regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) Stewards charged Dudley Fields with marring.  Mr. Jones pleaded guilty to the charge, Dudley Fields was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Maximum Gift.

Cheeky Cindy was quick to begin.  Shamus Mac was slow to begin.  Sisco Knight and Weeona Paddy collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Weeona Paddy and Maximum Gift collided on the first turn checking Weeona Paddy.  Shamus Mac raced wide on the first turn, home turn and in the home straight.  It's A Plan raced wide in the home straight.

Doc's Reward was quick to begin.  Spring Ace and Ty's Legend were slow to begin.  Spring Ace and Little Kensi collided on the first turn checking Trademark Rocky and severely checking Little Kensi and Off Ya Rocket.  Little Kensi was checked off Trademark Rocky approaching the home turn.  Weeona Dino and Trademark Rocky collided approaching the home turn checking Weeona Dino.  Weeona Dino and Ty's Legend collided on the home turn checking Ty's Legend.  Off Ya Rocket and Trademark Rocky collided entering the home straight and raced wide.

A pre-race sample was taken from Metro's Girl.

Unprecedented was slow to begin.  Barroom Promise, She's Got Dash and Handpass collided approaching the first turn checking She's Got Dash.  Barroom Promise and Handpass collided on the first turn checking Barroom Promise. Sir Richard and Ruby OHara collided on the first turn checking Ruby OHara.  Handpass was checked off Sir Richard approaching the home turn severely checking Handpass.  Metro's Girl and Handpass collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Pursuant to GAR 104(6) Lure Driver Mr. S. Courts did not act in any official capacity for this event.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Kuta's Lad upon arrival on course, a pre-race sample was subsequently taken.

Dakini Allen and Billy's Bake collided soon after the start checking Dakini Allen.  Always About Me and Dewana Babe collided soon after the start.  Always About Me and Ebby Ripper collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Always About Me and Ebby Ripper collided on the second turn checking Ebby Ripper.  Ebby Ripper was checked off Always About Me on the third turn.

Jasocate was quick to begin.  Knocka Feller was slow to begin.   Neo Ha Ha, Johnny's Return and Foxzami Tyga collided approaching the first turn checking Johnny's Return.  Neo Ha Ha and Knocka Fella collided on the first turn checking Neo Ha Ha.  Neo Ha Ha and Johnny's Return collided approaching the home turn checking Neo Ha Ha.  Jasocate and Knocka Feller collided entering the home straight.  Jasocate raced wide in the home straight causing Knocka Fella to race wide.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Zipping Moss, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Paua To Kapau was quick to begin.  Dr. Valhalla was slow to begin.  Off The Hip crossed in on the first turn checking Burekup Jack.

Elite Ollie was a late scratching at 5.55pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an injured right hind toe.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. J. Pattinson the representative of Zipping Maisy declared a new weight of 28.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Zipping Maisy last raced at 29.1kg.

A pre-race sample was taken from Kylie's Boy.

Jake Of Carson, Dyna Dean and I'm Electric were quick to begin.  Bolta Neveelk and Kylie's Boy collided soon after the start checking Bolta Neveelk.  Jake Of Carson and Dyna Dean collided approaching the first turn checking Jake Of Carson.  Jake Of Carson, Dyna Dean and I'm Electric collided on the first turn checking I'm Electric.  Kylie's Boy raced wide on the home turn.  Jake Of Carson and Dyna Dean collided approaching the winning post.

Kylie's Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind toe, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. V. Gay the trainer of Rub The Buddha regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Rub The Buddha last raced on 07/02/17.  Mr. Gay stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right back muscle injury.
