Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Van Oirschot, the trainer of Motivate Her regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Motivate Her last raced on 26 January 2017 and is returning after a left triangle muscle injury.  

Mr. C. Grenfell, trainer of Tiggerlong Scar declared a new weight of 27.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tiggerlong Scar last raced at 29.7kg.

Joie Eclat was quick to begin.  Tiggerlong Scar, Zipping Frank and Bandit Brad were slow to begin.  Tiggerlong Scar and Le Doyen collided approaching the first turn.  Le Doyen and Bandit Brad collided on the first turn.  Black Bindi and Zipping Frank collided on the home turn and again approaching the winning post.

Miss Juddy, Beljay Fantasy and Lemon Chicken were slow to begin. Lemon Chicken and Beljay Fantasy collided soon after the start.  So Far Away and Dargo Dasher collided soon after the start.  Lemon Chicken, So Far Away and Dargo Dasher collided approaching the first turn.  Miss Juddy was checked off So Far Away approaching the first turn.  Beljay Fantasy faltered on the first turn and lost considerable ground.  Oz Ten Tatious and Early King collided on the home turn.  Miss Juddy, Hit Legs and Oz Ten Tatious collided in the home straight.

Beljay Fantasy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that right triangle muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr. J. Nibbs, representative of Miss Pie declared a new weight of 26.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Miss Pie last raced at 27.8.kg

Lakeview Harley was quick to begin.  Mick Mow and Dr. Valhalla were slow to begin.  Mandela Sun, Mick Mow and Miss Pie collided soon after the start checking Mick Mow.  Paua Hiking and Coco Marlow collided on the first turn.  Anjing Betina, Mandela Sun and Coco Marlow collided entering the back straight checking Anjing Betina, Mandela Sun, Coco Marlow and Miss Pie.  Anjing Betina and Coco Marlow collided on the second turn.

Wolfbane McCabe was slow to begin.  Wolfbane McCabe and Slick Diamond collided on the first turn checking Wolfbane McCabe which contacted the running rail.  Fear Fire, Roger's Dreamin', Urban Street and Foxzami Tyga collided on the first turn checking Urban Street and Foxzami Tyga.  Foxzami Tyga and Slick Diamond collided approaching the home turn.  Wolfbane McCabe and Lochinvar Rox collided entering the home straight.  Foxzami Tyga was checked off Slick Diamond entering the home straight.  Foxzami Tyga, Wolfbane McCabe and Slick Diamond collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Lure Driver Mr. A. Inger after it was established the lure was initiated for a second "stir up", without direction. Mr. Inger advised that the time operated green light to indicate he was to commence the stir up was activated and the "stir up" was conducted.  Mr Inger stated he then looked up and saw the green light was still on and thought a second stir up was required when in fact the light was still on from the initial 'stir up'. Stewards noted Mr. Inger's explanation and reminded him to pay particular attention to the time-operated green light in future. 

Ninetymile Holly was quick to begin.  Chloe In Paris, Aston Emilio and Tub's Tiger collided soon after the start.  Dr. Walter and Avon Glory collided soon after the start.  Taabinga Express, Dr. Walter, Avon Glory and Chloe In Paris collided on the first turn checking Dr. Walter, Avon Glory and Aston Emilio.  Taabinga Express crossed to the outside approaching the second turn checking Chloe In Paris.  Avon Glory and Aston Emilio collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Chloe In Paris and Dr. Walter collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Avon Glory raced wide in the home straight.

Avon Glory was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Allen Punter, Star Of Anand and Zebo Bale collided soon after the start.  Zebo Bale and Star Of Anand collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Taabinga Sprite and Allen Punter collided on the first turn.  Zipping Paris and Hyundai Hawk collided on the first turn.  Taabinga Sprite and Allen Punter collided in the back straight.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. M. Thomas regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Hyundai Hawk.  Stewards directed that Hyundai Hawk be boxed first in future events.

A pre-race sample was taken from Walk Woody Walk.

Taking Flight was slow to begin.  Kadalex Kid and Walk Woody Walk collided soon after the start.  Mix Off Harmony, Kadalex Kid and Walk Woody Walk collided approaching the first turn.  Dr. Poppel and Machiko collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Kadalex Kid was checked off Mix Off Harmony on the first turn.  Kadalex Kid, Walk Woody Walk and Bulk Cairns collided on the first turn.  Machiko and Taking Flight collided on the first turn.  Machiko was checked off Taking Flight on the second turn.

Stewards established Far Out Indian turned in the boxes.  Acting under GAR 52(1) Far Out Indian was placed on a satisfactory trial all tracks.

Far Out Indian was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

A pre-race sample was taken from Coalville Tiger.

Beyond Galaxia and Barroom Counsel collided soon after the start.  There's Steamy and Fairy Pretty collided soon after the start.  Philo Bale and Cheerful Scout collided on the first turn.  Beyond Galaxia and Barroom Counsel collided on the first turn.  Barroom Counsel was checked off Philo Bale entering the front straight.  Philo Bale and Cheeful Scout collided on the second turn checking Cheerful Scout and Barroom Counsel.  Barroom Counsel was checked off Beyond Galaxia on the fourth turn.

Gold Air and Aston Philou collided soon after the start.  Precipitation, Gone Early and King Kai collided soon after the start.  Gold Air was checked off Preciptiation on the second turn checking Gone Early.  King Kai brushed the running rail in the home straight.  Aston Philou and Splash Of White collided approaching the winning post.

Reignlee, Wild Angel and Cosmic Act collided soon after the start.  Shanks Very Much, Spirited Quality and Reignlee collided on the first turn checking Shanks Very Much and Spirited Quality.  Reignlee and Cosmic Act collided in the back straight checking Reignlee.  Parisian Magic and Ya Welcome collided on the second turn.  Reignlee failed to pursue the lure on the home turn checking Ya Welcome, Parisian Magic and Cosmic Act.  Parisian Magic and Ya Welcome collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Formosa the trainer of the greyhound Reignlee regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Reignlee was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 12, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right front and right hind leg, no stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) Stewards charged Reignlee with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury.  Mr. Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Reignlee was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Nitro Hook, July Allen, Rylies Jack and Spritely Pizazz were slow to begin.  Abed Bale and Milla Rose collided soon after the start.  July Allen, Rylies Jack and Spritely Pizazz collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Abed Bale was checked off Milla Rose on the first turn.
