Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr I Green, trainer of Riverdale Danger, regarding the length of time the greyhound had between races. Riverdale Danger last raced on 3 January 2017. Mr Green stated the greyhound was resuming racing following a fracture to the left hind metatarsal.
Stewards spoke to Mr L Johnson, trainer of Prom Night, regarding the length of time the greyhound had between races. Prom Night last raced on 23 February 2017. Mr Johnson stated the greyhound was resuming racing following an extended spell.
A pre-race sample was taken from Big Tilly upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre- race sample was unable to be obtained from Kalani Willow, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Keep On Runnin' was slow to begin. Riverdale Danger and Dreamtime Storm collided soon after the start, checking Dreamtime Storm. Waylon Bale and Keep On Runnin' collided soon after the start, checking Dreamtime Storm. Waylon Bale and Kalani Willow collided approaching the first turn, checking Kalani Willow.
