Flying Hareeba and Mahjong Heat were slow to begin.  Kouta Mayhem crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Rumbling Bajooks, Rivenlee Lad and Silver Trident.  Vintage Millane raced wide approaching the first turn.  Patchie Thief, Silver Trident and Vintage Millane collided on the first turn.  Vintage Millane and Patchie Thief collided approaching the home turn checking Vintage Millane and Rumbling Bajooks and severely checking Flying Hareeba and Patchie Thief.  Mahjong Heat galloped on the heels of Silver Trident on the home turn.

Patchie Thief was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained superficial abrasions down its left back leg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Sprightly Fella was quick to begin.  My Cousin Jim and Hungry Heart were slow to begin.  Aston Zeppo, Hungry Heart and Pepper Shannon collided soon after the start checking Hungry Heart.  Audacious Assin, Daicos and Sprightly Fella collided on the first turn checking Audacious Assin and Daicos and severely checking Sprightly Fella.  Aston Zeppo and Hungry Heart collided on the first turn checking Aston Zeppo.  Aston Zeppo and Pepper Shannon collided on the home turn checking Aston Zeppo.

Hungry Heart was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left front sesamoid injury and a spike wound to the right hind hock.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Quick Sensation was quick to begin.  Glaucus was slow to begin.  Justa Jezza galloped on the heels of Quick Sensation approaching the first turn checking Quick Sensation, Just Jezza and Jamba Lad.  Quick Sensation and Laurence Avenue collided on the first turn.  Gotta Cheer Up checked off Laurence Avenue approaching the home turn.  Jamba Lad and Laurence Avenue collided on the home turn.  Laurence Avenue and Glaucus collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Right Now was slow to begin.  Hi Ho Geromino, Midnight Kebab and Aston Dinnigan collided soon after the start checking Midnight Kebab and Aston Dinnigan.  Unite Bale checked off Maximum Babe approaching the first turn.  Unite Bale, Moltisanti and Maximum Babe collided on the first turn checking Moltisanti and Right Now and severely checking Maximum Babe.  Unite Bale checked off Benlura approaching the home turn.  Right Now raced wide on the home turn.

In A Rush was slow to begin.  Soon after the start the left front foot of Jordy Paige became lodged in it's muzzle causing the greyhound to stumble and lose considerable ground; the greyhound's muzzle became dislodged as a result.  Tat Scooby, Meehan Roy and Cosmic Spur collided on the first turn.  In A Rush and My Lilly collided on the first turn checking My Lilly.  Tat Scooby and My Lilly collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Spur, Meehan Roy and Hey Alio Fozzio.

Jordy Paige was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the bridge of it's nose.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
